Conservative Future Social Action is about giving younger members of the Conservative Party a chance to give something back and help the communities and causes which matter the most to them.
As coordinator for Conservative Future Social Action, I along with the rest of the National Executive really wanted to give every member the chance to get involved and have their say and make a difference in their communities, because at the end of the day, that’s what the Big Society is all about, and that’s why we should all get involved in Social Action.
Last Friday saw the deadline for the first lot of applications from Branches seeking the first National Conservative Future Social Action project of 2012 to come to them. We received many fantastic and inspiring applications from branches all over the country.
Applicants will be notified within the next week, with the successful applicants published online on Tuesday 1st May 2012.
I would personally like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has got involved so far and I really encourage everyone to get involved in as many projects as you can!
